Bozeman is a city in Galatin County, in southern Montana. It covers 20.3 sq mi (32.6 sq km) and has a population of 37,000 people (2011 estimate), making it the fourth most populous city in Montana. The city is 4,820 ft (1,461 m) above sea level.
