General Electric Building General Electric Building is a 50-storey skyscraper in Upper Midtown, Manhattan, New York City. The 640-feet-tall (195-meter) building is located at 570 Lexington Avenue, and should not be confused with the GE Building at Rockefeller Center.

The General Electric Building was built in 1931, and was originally known as the RCA Victor Building. The building was designed by architect John W. Cross of the architectural firm of Cross and Cross. The design complements the design of the St Bartholomew's Church next to it. It has a spiky pinnacle that is supposed to symbolize electric waves.

The General Electric Building appeared in the movie Mr & Mrs Smith as the office of Jane Smith at Suite 2003.

How to reach the General Electric Building

Take the 6 train to the 51st Street subway station, and the General Electric Building is right above the subway station.
