The Hollywood Bowl often stages concerts ranging from pop to country, folk and jazz, drawing thousands of fans to picnic there. One of the big events here is the Fourth of July celebration, complete with fireworks.
The shell-shaped amphitheater was designed by Lloyd Wright, the son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The privately owned front-row boxes can seat 18,000 people. To provide details to this historic landmark, the Edmund D. Edelman Hollywood Bowl Museum displays posters, videos and old programs as well as memorabilia of celebrities who visited it.
