Jewish Museum is a museum on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. It houses the most extensive collection of Jewish art and culture outside of Israel. Among the artifacts exhibited at the Jewish Museum includes old coins, archaeological objects, ceremonial and religious artifacts connected to the Jewish people.

The Jewish Museum is housed in the beautiful château-like residence of Felix M. Warburg, a leading Jewish financier of the early 20th century. The building was designed by C.P.H. Gilbert in 1908.

The history of the Jewish Museum goes back to 1904, when Judge Mayer Sulzberger offered a gift of 26 Jewish ceremonial art objects to the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. The objects were housed in the seminary's library until 1931, when they were moved to 122nd and Broadway, in a special room entitled "The Museum of Jewish Ceremonial Objects". Donations from other Jewish individuals, including major donations from Hadji Ephraim Benguiat and Harry G. Friedman expanded the collection.

The premises of the Jewish Museum was donated by Frieda Schiff Warburg, widow of Felix M. Warburg, in January 1944 for use as the permanent home of the museum. The Jewish Museum opened to the public in May 1947.
