Rogers is a city in Benton County, in the northwestern corner of Arkansas. The city covers 33.58 sq mi (86.97 sq km) and has a population of 60,000 (2011 estimate). It is located an an elevation of 1,368 ft (417 m). The city is in the Central Standard Time, which is six hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-6) and five hours behind during Daylight Saving Time in summer. The phone area code here is 479.

Rogers is one of the cities in America that was named in honor of the leader of a railway company, usually for the construction of the railroad that enable the town to exist. In Rogers' case, it was Captain Charles Warrington Rogers, the vice-president and general manager of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad.
Rogers was established in 1881. As with other cities in the area, Rogers was caught in the middle during the American Civil War. Many of its residents fled the town until war was over, by which time they dicovered much of their properties have been looted or destroyed. The city rebuilt itself after the war, and became a rural center for farm produce particularly apples.
One of the places of interest in Rogers is the Rogers Historical Museum, at 322 South Second Street. It is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
