Sunset Boulevard (map) is a major street in the western part of Los Angeles County. It is made famous by Hollywood and its associated celebrity culture, so much so that the name Sunset Boulevard has come denote glamor.
Sunset Boulevard starts at the junction with Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angles in the east, and ends at the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) at Pacific Palisades in the west. The total length of the street is 24 miles (39 km. It passes through Beverly Hills, West Hollywood as well as neighborhoods of the City of Los Angeles such as Bel-Air and Hollywood.
