Wall is a small town in Pennington County, South Dakota. Covering just 2 sq mi (5.3 sq km), it has a population of around 800 only (2011 estimate). The town founded in 1908 has one rather unexpected tourist attraction: its local drug store. Wall Drug Store (or simply Wall Drug), founded in 1931 as a small pharmacy, has since grown into a shopping mall where visitors can buy everything under one roof. It also has a restaurant and gift shop, all under a single operator.

Visiting Wall
Wall is on Interstate 90. To reach it, take either Exit 109 (if coming from the west) and Exit 110 (if coming from the east).
Wall Drug Store is on Main Street. If you took Exit 109, be on the lookout for the intersection after the railway line. The store is on your right, with usually ample parking space. If you took Exit 110, head north on Glenn Street until intersection with 4th Avenue. Turn left and continue till Main Street. Wall Drug Store parking area is on your left, just before the intersection, while the store itself is just beyond its parking lot.
